New as in past couple years. Ive read too much to just list here, so if you have something good let me know! Or just other good books i should read if not fantasy. Maybe some classics that are great reads, or some philosophical fiction thats really good and makes me sound smart when I say I have read it.

I suggest The Night Angel Trilogy By Brent Weeks, Tales of the continuing time (Emerald eyes, The long run, The Last dancer, as well as Armageddon Blues which plays in the same Universe) by Daniel Keys Moran, The Way of Kings, Elantris and The Mistborn Trilogyby Brandon Sanderson, Prince of Nothing by Scott Bakker as well as Codex Alera by Jim Butcher.

I have read Otherland, I actually need to finish the third book I think. I'll check out Sanderson since I am liking the latest Wheel of Time books.

Tales of the sinister city is a pretty good series. It tells separate stories, but they are all loosely connected.
