Topic: What is the greatest gift you ever got for Christmas?

When I was a kid we got the original Nintendo the first year it was out, we got years of joy from that thing. Looking back it was probably the greatest gift I ever got. :')

That's a good question.
I guess it'd have to be this computer I'm using now that my dad built for me.

Woah! I don't even know. Thinking about it, I've never had many memorable Christmas presents. Or maybe I just don't give a toss about merchandise :/

My dad built me a dollhouse when I was a kid that I adored.
What are your kids getting this Christmas?

Android tablets for the boys (didn't have enough to get them both netbooks), and I'm not even sure about my girl, I'm gonna let her pick out something she really wants because I don't know what she is getting from everyone else. They have pretty much all the cool stuff kids play with already, so this year was a bit hard.

A Playstation was my greatest gift I got for Christmas.
It was my last Christmas I believed in Santa and I had to wait 2 years for it.
I asked Santa the previous year could I have a Playstation and my mother told me she had written to Santa to tell him not to bring me a Playstation.
To say I was devastated would be an understatement, I must have cried for a week solid.

Becky has a secret, but don't tell anyone. she's a sweetheart
Don't take what she says in an offensive way, get to know her just a little better and you'll see. <3

Aye, I know it's not the most orthodox thing, but me and my dad sit down at the end of each day with a cig and a beer and just talk. It's the best thing in the world to just chat about the good things, the bad and all that. Feelsgoodman.
I should tell him how fuckin' A he is more though, you're right.

When I was thousands of miles away from home and my loved ones. I got a kick in the balls. A dose of reality. "It's just another day kid. Nothing special anymore. Welcome to the fucking real world."

'85 in America. For various reasons, I've concluded this: KS is a time traveller

A Mongoose bike when I was 8.
I promptly built a make-shift ramp out of a couple of old tires and piece of plywood with no concept of physics or how a ramp works. On my maiden voyage (at top speed) up my ramp, the wood teeter-tottered when I got to the middle and I came down hard on the front wheel sending me over the handle bars and flat on my face. It happened so fast my hands where still holding on to the grips. My nose was broken and I had road-rash on my face for a week.
Best. Christmas. Ever.

I had got one earlier that year for my birthday. Never hurt myself with that, but that bike... fuck. Two trips to the hospital. Good times.

That seems quite reasonable. '85 was 27 years ago, so maybe he was 8-10 at the time which means he's 35-37 now.
Edit: They were released in '90, so that comes at 30-32 instead, minus maybe a few years because he may have gotten it a few years after it was released, and maybe an older age. Still, seems somewhat reasonable.
@OP
How old are you and at what age did you babby, Ks? How far off am I?
