The Zoobomb crew put on their famed BEN HURT Chariot Wars as part of Minibike Winter, last night.

I am in this pic, with the reflective light on my helmet, at far left.

The guy in the panda suit won, laying crushing blows and kidney bruises to his opponents. My neighbor, a marine, was a chariot warrior, and took on some difficult hand-to-hand combat.

Many of the organizers are in the food service industry, and somebody brought two bushels of stale french bread loves. The crowd threw the bread at the participants, and some people even threw beer cans, fireworks, and smoke bombs.

The first chariot arena—one full block of an abandoned industrial district—was shut down by the police, but they allowed us to continue in an off-street location.

We’re keeping the dream of the 90s alive. How did your Friday night go, fora?
