I think the fact that you're posting here despite being banned multiple times is probably solely because you want to stir up shit (minichan really isn't interesting enough of a website that it's worth ban-evading to read.) And neither r04r nor becky are online, so I don't know if they were comfortable with those threads. In the past they preferred not having attention drawn to them so I did what I thought they would have done if they were online. If I acted inappropriately, I'll find out whenever they come online again.

Responding childishly by deleting the posts only encourages shitstirring, regardless what his original intention was. In either case, the best action is to just ignore it. "Don't feed the trolls". I didn't actually delete the post, but let's face it, minichan isn't exactly known for being able to easily ignore drama. Either it gets left alone by the mods, at which point everyone posts and gets mad, or it gets locked/deleted at which point mara gets mad. There is no winning move, unless you have a suggestion.

I don't think it's negative attention so much as it's unwarranted, unnecessary negative attention (which seemed to be exactly what Mara's topic was). I'm not going to whiteknight for them because they're both adults and more than capable of defending themselves when they're online, but I did what I thought they would have done if they had been online.

Let's be honest here: antagonism comes with anonymity. Trying to have anonymity without drama or trolling is ridiculous.
Just enjoy the drama. THink of this as an ongoing soap opera which you can influence and take part in. A few feelings will be hurt every so often. But no one forces anyone to post here. So really the only person that can be blamed is the 'victim' for being overly sensitive.

The old T4C had pretty lax moderation rules and it turned into nothing but autistic anonymous rage trolls, and shitposts. Minichan is the place where decent posters can enjoy a board that isn't rage or shit filled. Discussions about moderation here are beyond old really, mods are doing a pretty good job by most people's standards. Conversely GHOUL has almost no moderation and is actually pretty okay, seems like most of the 'trolls' left the BBScene, or DM is just a good troll magnet. I like to think most people have progressed past the point of a 12 year old who just found /b/ and got bored of 'trolling', but it's more likely they found riper fruits. If you're looking for a place to 'troll' people, there's always /b/.
