I think some people associate Christmas music with putting themselves in massive debt.
I don't really enjoy Christmas as much as a kid. It lost its flair when I realized how much that Xbox really costs.

i heard that mash up of "all i want for christmas is you", between beiber and mariah carey. to be honest, his voice sounded really shitty compared to hers.

That wasn't the song I posted but, yeah, I agree.

the song you posted wasn't bad at all, but also wasn't distinctive. i could never pick his voice out of a group. also he looks very young, which does nothing for me.

@271,152 (cccuuunnttt !CaTLdYmooc) > Do you think it actually helps sales?
It does. I was reading a study on how music effects sales a while back (it was either in the JBR or the Journal of Retailing). Apparently songs and smells people associate with Christmas can have a massive influence on people's decision to buy stuff. It makes sense really — we all know music affects emotion, and when people are in happier moods they're obviously going to be more generous in their gift-buying.
Also fuck you for not liking christmas music :(

I can see where reminding people of Christmas and gift-giving would spur sales. Personally, it just makes me want to leave the store.
