Yeah. Opiates are my favorite, but I tend to resist 'em now. I'm going three years clean off my oxy. No need for temptation. I mean, once in a while (maybe once every several months), I'll get a hold of a few and take them, but that's it. I should see how much people around me want some. Maybe it'll be worth buying then.

Good on you, man. I have a regular, free supply of codeine whenever I want, which is all good. Finally found me a decent opi dealer who reckons he'll have some morphine over Christmas so I'm looking forward to that. Other than that it's whatever I can get, oxy, tramadol, etc.

Don't forget that DXM is both a disassociative and a hallucinogen. Since alcohol is also a disassociative, he may have not realized he was even trippin'. It's mostly on the third an fourth plateau the hallucinogenic effects begin occurring.
