I've been making friends. On the internet. Great people, who think I'm amazing. They feed my ego and they're lovely to chat with. Some of them come to me for advice over self-harm. They say I give amazing advice, and I have gotten a number of people to stop. I saved a girl from killing herself. I've raised the self-esteem of countless girls who are beautiful and just don't see it.
but there seems to be a problem.
They're becoming more numerous than my real-life circle of friends and I don't even leave the house anymore except for school. I talk to them 24/7. All day. Every day. I love them all to death, but I am becoming attached to them, and them to me, and I am afraid this could end badly.
Just a bit of a rant and I encourage discussion. or not.

Is there a possibility of you guys ever meeting up? If they leave relatively close to you, you should pursue your friendship with them beyond the Internet thingy. I knew this guy once who married with a girl he talked over the Internet while she stayed 50 km away from him.

If you have enough friends to make a circle out of them ( π * 2r ), then you're pretty popular. The only social interactions I have nowadays are with this forums, my mom and dad, and a girl who sits behind me in class, when I ask her to help me with homework.

One of them wants to go to Alaska with me to see the bus Chris McCandless died in. One wants to take me snowboarding the next time they come out to this side of the country. They both live on the other corners of the country, though. The rest of the people also live way far away. Most of them are in New England or the UK.
There's one in the UK I have grown tremendously close to...She says I saved her life that night I forced her to call the hospital when she OD'd. She says talking to me is the one thing which keeps her happy anymore. She says she doesn't want to kill herself when she talks to me. She writes my name on her arm when she thinks about suicide...I want to meet her. I want to be with her. She's gone through so much, and I want to be able to be there for her...
