Develop and publish apps... I love what spotify evolved into since it started, tho I hate the Facebook part of the evolution...

HTML5/CSS + Javascript... it uses WebKit as it's rendering engine, and the apps can request shit outside of spotify (for example. you can load stufffrom your web page into your app)...
So theoretically, you can run anything anywhere, and get the results into your Spotify app...
