You aren't going to try and find them? Not even a Craigslist misse connections?

I would look for nudes cause I'm a creep, but I wouldn't steal someone's camera.

That's just shitty.

Nah, it's the same concept of how I got a free PlayStation 2 Slim. I always tell people to grab all their shit out of my and/or house before they leave. If they leave it and don't bother asking about in a week or more, I call it mine. Also, I found a small pipe in my car which is also mine. It has a frog on it. Nobody has smoked in my car for ages, so now that's mine too. I don't think it's my responsibility to keep track of other's items, and since I already give a fair warning, that should be more than enough. By the way, I remind people as they're leaving, not as they're arriving. So that should be fresh in their head for them to check if they have everything.

@previous (B)
I'll agree. Also, I'm a thief... It's what I do. At least I don't straight up steal from them knowing they're under the influence. It's just things people leave behind.

I have never been caught for stealing, shoplifting, pick pocketing, defrauding, scamming, nor identity theft. However, I have been caught harassing my ex-fiancée. Then again, if you guys didn't know me in the older days, I was psychotic. I don't really consider this camera a game of stealing, more of a finder's keepers loser's weepers type thing.

its like this one time i needed a bike to get home and i saw one leaning against the side of a store that was closed and nobody was around so i rode it home

finders keepers but i dont think the loser was weeping because it was kind of a shitty bike

Fuckin' lol'd. But yeah, that's how I see shit. I mean... How can you forget your bike? You just don't. How can a girl forget her camera or phone? It's like part of their necessities of life. It's just like how I could never forget my iPhone. It's something I need.

You dont make up the rules. The pipe is yours to keep. No real way to know who's it was.

The camera you should make an effort to return.

It is theft. If no one claims it after leaving it in your home, and you make a good faith effort to return it, you shouldn't feel at all guilty for keeping it. You can't do more than that.

You just sound like a selfish prick, though. People like you make the world a horrible place. You destroy te environment. You enslave children.

I have had so many opportunities to steal bikes and claim them as my own but I don't want to do it someplace I will ever go again.

@269,757 (kook !nH6RAuX8mo)
I honestly don't remember.

@269,765 (jump)
Nor do you to tell the truth. You can't say it's perfectly fine to keep the pipe just because it's drug paraphernalia. It's not theft if nobody makes an effort to find it. I don't feel guilty for anything I do, nor am I going to go out of my way to return a camera that doesn't belong to me. It's not my responsibility to keep track of another person's belongings, just like it's not your responsibility to keep track of my phone. It's my own. In no way is this theft, it's simply finding something and keeping it. I am totally a selfish prick when it's totally my fault and I took their shit without asking intentionally. Yup. I make the world a horrible place? This action of mine doesn't make the world a horrible place. Lots of people have my number, yet I have hardly anyone's except for whose is needed. If they were really concerned about it, then there's no doubt they would call everyone asking if they've seen it.

@269,786 (H)
The blackouts over here from AZ to CA was such a good time to steal some bikes. A friend and I went to around 5-7 different schools looking for bikes to steal. We had our bolt cutters ready and everything. Unfortunately, all schools were cleared out. We would have tried downtown, but there was definitely no way of getting the bike back to our neighborhood. Thank you.

@previous (dw !AIy/L67q.s)
It's a pretty nice camera I will admit. I kinda wish I kept it myself, but meh. I don't really take pictures. If anything, I'll take a picture with my phone. I gave it to my sister instead and she loves it.

Anonymous C replied with this 15 years ago, 20 minutes later, 7 hours after the original post[^] [v] #269,802

@previous (Meowth !WcOabcjNAM)
It is your responsibility to make a good effort to find the owner. You know who owns the camera. If you have no way of contacting them, There isn't much you can do. A non-piece-of-shit would at least try to find the owner. If someone left something over my place, Id make an effort to get it to them.

You can't do much about the pipe. That I understand. The camera you are gloating about stealing, and you are stealing.

Definitely not my responsibility to keep track of other's belongings. There's lots of things I can do about the pipe. I can do as much for the pipe as much as I can for the camera. Just because someone is high and not drunk means I should treat them differently? I don't think so, Tim.

I have been plenty of times, and I don't sit and cry about it. Also, anyone remember that iPod nano I stole out of some Mexican's car? That was for stealing my iPod Touch 2G. Do I think that it's a bad trait? It's what makes me who I am. I could care less of what people think of me and think about my traits. This nigga is one of the true few niggas who don't give a fuck about anything. Also, this is a chan. Expect at least one real immoral person here.

Ah, alright. Well, to be honest, I have very few morals. I don't feel bad for many things I do, especially if they're people I don't give a single fuck about. Today I thought about stealing the iPhone 4 dock I just got, but I decided to pay the rip off price of $30. I dunno. It's not hard at all to steal from an Apple Store. I would never steal from family or true friends, however I'll admit I have stolen from my white cousin, but that nigga never pays me back for anything. So, I see it as if you aren't paying my money back, I'm just going to take it. It's not like he doesn't have the money, it's more of he would rather waste it all on drugs. No thanks.

It happens a decent amount of times to me, so that's why I generally don't care about a lot of people I know excluding family. I can also tell a true friend when they actually hit me up instead of me hitting them up all the time. I can tell a fake friend when the only time they hit me up is when they need something from me. Such as a designated driver. Cough.
