What the fuck are you should to do in this game?
I get the basics. It's the same as Minecraft. Gather wood, etc.
But you can't even use these materials to build a house or a base operations.

And why is it on permanent hardcore mode?

Please tell me there's a chance of this game getting frequent updates?
Because, I must admit, I am kind of liking this product.

Is there anyway I could download it and play it without a browser?

your goal is to kill the air wizard. you can't place most materials, just dirt, seeds, flowers, saplings and possibly some stuff you get later on but i don't know.

it's pretty easy to not get hit when you are above ground, just make a sword and spam it at anything that decides to come near you. it probably will not be updated too much, it was made in 48 hour for ludum dare #22. he does do things like fix bugs in his entries so it is possible there will be some kind of update.

it is a java game, so yes you can download it.

he uses a retro as an excuse to make ugly games, i don't remember 16 bit games looking this ugly nor did 8 bit games, most retro games pushed hardware to it's limits and still looked beautiful, notch just makes excuses for his ugly programmer graphics
