I know NASA lied and tried to claim it was a trick of shadows, but then the European Space agency went by with a probe and rechecked and found it was real.Anyway, was this made by...

A trick of light and shadow. You may as well be picking out faces in clouds. There is nothing meaningful here except what you interpret with your own human eyes.
Edit: pic is Galle crater (not Cydonia) BTW, but I don't think aliens engineered giant emoticons for us to find either.

Maybe Mars had life once. There are legends of the the Ice Warriors, calling them, a fine and noble race who built an empire out of snow.

There's legends of ancient civilizations, Atlantis, Lemuria, http://fringe.wikia.com/wiki/First_People Simple enough, they had a great civilization once and now it's gone, only their building on Mars remains because decay happens slower due to no surface life and no oxygen.
