Is it really gross or kind of acceptable?

I usually consider people who have clean fingers generally take care of themselves better so they are not so sloppy. What do you think?

I do to keep them short and as a nervous habit. Oral fixation I guess. Also can't play a viola with long nails so they need to stay short anyhow.

I am in a rare period where I actually haven't bitten my fingernails recently. I marvel at how long they are, though they aren't actually that long. They just seem long to me compared to the usual nubs. This is something I really wish I could stop doing.
