Topic: Do you read e-books?

Anonymous A started this discussion 15 years ago #15,165

If so, how often? On what medium? Is it useful to you?

Yes, everyday. Kindle Fire, was on my phone through Mantano reader before. And yes, but I do prefer physical books.

I think the longest passage I've read in a long time is the Glug copypasta.

The functionality. I use it for much more than a e-reader. It's technically a hybrid e-reader/tablet. I use it when I goto the store with Evernote, I use it for web surfing, and for a few other things. The fact that it's browser is amazing helps as well. :) I also use it as a mini drawing tablet. I was sketchy at first getting it, but I have -no- regrets. I personally have been an android fan for a while, and this blows me away. Sure, it doesn't have all the features of android, but it alone, as a stand alone is AMAZING.

i like the half-priced bookstore. It's cheap, they buy your shit back, it's current. It's actually a little like a cross between a library and a old-school video rental place, so, it's probably going to go out of business pretty soon.

No, I don't.
I have plenty of paper ones to read right now so I don't bother.

Yes I do, on an e-ink kindle. Anyone who gets an e-reader without e-ink is missing out on the reading experience bigtime.

I heard that they are releasing a touch-screen Kindle with e-ink soon. Is this actually true?
