If it is high enough, impact can kill or stun you and you drown. Also, many bridges are over rivers with very strong currents and rip currents, which drown you.

If the bridge is above a certain height, then yes, you will either break your legs or neck when you hit the water.
You could also break your neck/head/legs on the rocks at the bottom, and then drown.
