They're at double that version number now, I'm surprised it even let you past the requirement check. Does the [upload] thingy at posting replies/topics work for you?

Two feature requests from other sources: > Gif support
Don't think it's possible because all of this runs within the user's browser, and the possibilities are limited with that.
> Quickly reply
Not sure what's meant with that, but using a base image file from the web isn't allowed as far as I can tell because Same Origin Policy (google it if you're curious).
Will add a link to the macro page in the hint showed when posting/replying later.

Oh I remember now. Basically it would integrate the macro page at the bottom (below the imgur URL [upload] box), essentially just fusing the page itself into the hint. I can understand that it could look bloated and perhaps really terrible on mobile phones. Not sure.
Again, thanks.

It doesn't work on mobiles anyway, so I guess that it could be left out of mobile mode.

So far most mobile browsers support the browser APIs it relies on. I don't think there's much use to embed it there. Clicking the link brings you there in a new tab/window, lets you create the image macro, upload to imgur and then you can copy/paste the imgur link.

More specifically, it was to eliminate the need for having to copypaste the imgur link from the macro page into the URL box in the reply hint. That's where I was going with it.

I know, but I think it'd be extra clutter, and for it to work well it would have to load in a whole load of extra javascript on each topic page load and that it just doesn't seem it worth it. Well, that or dynamic loading but that's just too much of a hassle.

On Firefox 7, it saves the canvas itself as an image, which you can save with a right click. Could you make it work like that on Chromium/Chrome?

Not exactly what you mean what happens? On chrome clicking the download as image button it saves the file to my download directory with a similar name to the original uploaded. Looks like I forgot to test what happens when using an image from the web, and that breaks. Is that what you're referring to?
vocalon !RVtoegPubI replied with this 15 years ago, 1 minute later, 5 days after the original post[^][v]#264,654
@previous (r04r !GETFUCKED)
When I'm using Firefox the text layer just "flattens itself out" on to the image and I can right click and save it from there. On Chromium, the image automatically downloads and it saves itself.

It's useful to specify a way to reproduce your problem. Include your browser (include version number) and OS.

You didn't include the version number, but assuming you use chromium and not chrome (so no auto-updater) you probably either have an unstable build, or an outdated build. I suggest upgrading and trying again. If that doesn't resolve the issue go to the macro page, right click, inspect element and click on console. Then do what doesn't work and tell me if there are any errors in the console, and if so paste them here.

Not really interesting, the save as just saves it as is and the buttons first hides the resize/delete buttons before messing with it
