I didn't like that one as much to be honest. I remember nagging my mom to get it though when I was like 9 or whenever it came out. It's basically identical to blue, except the pikachu gimmick, but I still like blue better.

No. He is only allowed to use that Pokemon to catch 6 magikarp. He must then discard that Pokemon before progressing.
Challenge: defeat the elite four using only six Magikarp. Easy mode, let them evolve. Normal mode, don't. Hard mode, use splash every other move. nightmare mode, catch all six just before you go in for the battle
