And I'm not blaming Kutcher. He can't act for shit, but he's working with such weak material that not even De Niro could inject life into it. Shame to see such a formally good show reduced to an embarrassing parody of itself, relying exclusively on fart and jerking off jokes.
They could, but they are not. What exactly is "pushing the envelope" about having Kutcher play the highly implausible role of a self-made billionaire who has the intelligence and maturity of a child, and who spends every episode pissing and whining about his ex-wife, whilst making dick jokes next to Jake who farts all the time, all to the tune of riotous canned laughter?

See the problem is Kutcher's trying to play a character whereas Sheen was just being himself.
Kutcher was always a better underwear model than an actor anyhow.
