Yeah, actually. Got one a while ago saying some crap like "heyy ;)". I asked who it was and they replied "Zoe Kemp ;) ;)". I don't know anyone by that name though so I've been ignoring them since. They still sent their generic meaningless texts for a while but they've stopped now.
Someone else I know also had a similar thing.

This is the only fix, as far as I know. It's the only way to cleanse the evil spam spirits that are haunting your phone.
