Topic: Why do I always feel as if I should be the third wheel?

For example, during a regular encounter between bronies and brony-haters. I always feel like I have to be the third party involved. Hell, this is one of the only times I label myself by my true fandom, the Avatards (Avatar the Last Airbender fans). I even like to pretend I go into brony territory to conduct trade and diplomatic missions between them and me. Have I spent too much time on the Internet to where I think of it as a completely different world than our own or to a lesser extent, a pseudo-rpg?

i saw that air bender movie. It wasn't even laughably bad. It was trash. All the actors were terrible. Just a stupid movie by a man who shouldn't be allowed near a movie set unless its to whipe semen stains off the furniture.

Why did you watch the movie instead of the original source material?
Usually something based on a source will be bad or lack quality.
There are exceptions though. I.E. Lord of the Rings.

I was only watching to confirm M Night Shyllamadingdong is the worst writer/director ever.

I was wrong, though. He is the worst that will ever be. Each movie gets progressively worse. By the time The Village came out, he was completely in the realm of shit. Here, he wasnt even capable of getting decent actors.

The fight scenes look chkteographed. That's how bad they are. Everything about the film is terrible. Maybe the sfx were good, i can't even remember.

You also forgot to mention the whole race controversy over The Last Airbender.
The characters of Katara and Sokka were white in the film while in the series they were based on the Inuit people who are of darker skin complexion.

That would have made the film completely inaccessible to American audiences. All races are more empathetic to their own race (studies done on pain management demonstrate this). It's why I don't believe in race mixing unless it's absolute and mandated by law so we all end up looking the same.

Plenty of quality entertainment is able to survive without whitewashing. This film was shit, though.

Gangsters have much appeal. We aren't completely incapable of empathy for different races. It's just we have a greatly diminished capacity for empathy for other races.
