1. I never played any Elder Scrolls games before and I don't know if I should play Oblivion first.
2. I have no money and shouldn't be spending what little I do have on games.
3. My computer might not be able to run it since I heard it basically needs a supercomputer to run it.

Basically. Skyrim's different in quite a few ways though. A bit like how Oblivion was different to Morrowind.

Don't worry, it's not a huge transition or anything. If you can play Oblvion then you can play this.

I also am playing oblivion for the first time right now.

Most merchants wont accept stolen goods, so you need to join the thieves guild and fence it through them. You join the thieves in the imperial city.

oh, because the gameplay and graphics are dated and you would have too hard of a time getting into playing them to manage to explore the world and lore and such?

my real point though is that going back to play Oblivion because you feel like you're missing out on something is silly since you're not going to play the first games in the series anyway... even if you do you won't see it all because the first two games are massive as fuck.
