if you live in a later timezone from where the episode airs first then you can just download it from any torrent site and can get it before it airs locally

It's an extremely stupid question. Of course you cannot download an episode before it airs. Nobody has a copy of it except the broadcaster and creators before it airs.

Because only the creators have a copy of the show until about an hour before it is due to be aired, then the TV station they're broadcasting on get a copy.
A lot of people don't care about leaking music, and games get delivered to stores before they come out as a matter of course.
