Both on the same wireless network. Is this possible? I'd like to record some skyrim fights. I'm getting really good with the bow, and some of these dungeon clears would likely make for some cool videos.
I'm not opposed to buying hardware if needed.

The simple solution would be to use a webcam and stream it from your TV, as far as I know it's not possible to stream XBOX play to PC. Other than that there may be a way to stream what's on your TV to your PC with the right software and cable, in fact I'm almost positive that it's possible, but the easy way out is to use webcam pointed at TV.

The basic difference between the Dazzle and the HD PVR is that the Dazzle makes your PC do all the work, whereas the HD PVR comes with a remote, does most of the work and sends a stream to your PC. I'm not saying the HD PVR is not a good product, but its over the top. A decent PC and Dazzle will do the same thing for about 1/4 the price. Ya turkey. ;)

Ok, Ive only got a laptop to use.
I've seen methods using USB but its like 30 FPS. I'd want 60 at least (I forget if it's > 60 the human eye can't see a difference or less) @previous (Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx)

Also if you have a wired xbox 360 controller, it has an usb port. Put that in computer, play skyrim on computer, profit.

24FPS is all you really need, the only time anyone ever bitches about frames per second is when it isn't a constant rate and they can tell it's slowing down or speeding up.
Remember when game devs talked about getting their games to perform well at a locked 30FPS?
Now we've all gone batshit insane and think 60FPS or higher is the holy grail, when it's just overkill and usually detracts from the experience because 100FPS can't be perfectly maintained.

A bit more than double the 24 FPS is nice, so there's two frames per capture of the eye. I forgot the reason, but we like that for some reason.
