I mean they're dangerous and realistically only serve to be a disturbance. The same kind of visuals can be accomplished with drone swarms which are arguably much safer and less noisy. With all that said, they're very spiritually American. What's more American than blowing shit up and not caring who it inconveniences? So they'd never ban them because people would complain about not being able to blow shit up and make noise. They've also been like bizarrely made into this patriotic symbol because they literally always let off fireworks after singing the national anthem at sporting events.
