Remember when republicans used to justify incomprehensible greed with trickle down economics, then one day they stopped bothering justifying it? What day was that? What day was the last day a republican said, "trickle down economics?"

"Job creators" was a thing well into the 2000's to justify leaving minimum wage low and keeping taxes low for small business types to skim from the labor pool and grace us with McJobs.

I wonder what the new slogan is going to be with this AI thing. Either the business model of OpenAI and Anthropic will be successful, the companies are going to lay off all their workers, and they’re going to have to come up with some justification why a handful of guys should be trillionaires and everybody else should be destitute or it will be unsuccessful and they’ll have to explain why we should bail out billionaires who spent trillions of dollars trying to get everybody laid off.
I can’t think of a slogan but maybe somebody else can.

Call me crazy, somehow I don’t think they built all these data centers because they want to cure cancer. Imagine if nobody died from cancer. There’s no money in that. Somehow I don’t think medical research was the motivation. Could be wrong.
