Librul faggort sez: you deserve your own earnings, but we should pitch in for the collective good. Additionally, when you,ve far surpassed your needs and comforts, the surpluses of your earnings provide you with power to control others, which is fine, but it becomes a drain on the public good when your monied power allows you to decrease the economic opportunity of others.
