Topic: Were these rips prepared wrong

Anonymous A started this discussion 2 hours ago #138,603

A guy said he got spoiled ribs from his wife. But I think he forgot to remove the undesirable fat that go over and between the rib cage. The pig is first cut open in half and there's a production line where guys vacuum the vast majority of concentrated visceral fat. Vicelar fat tastes bad. I think so because that requires breaking a part of the inner side of the rip bone

Edit: subcutaneous fat, when it comes to the rib cage fat on top

Eww, yeah, don't eat that part. I did't have ribs until I was like 40 - someone had to tell me how to eat them too.

But they can't sit out all day at a BBQ either - if his wife held a plate at 80 degrees for 7 hours it might have actually been bad ribs.
