I’m pretty sure these are just scammers but I’ve noticed a lot of "I’m 19 and with just a single prompt on my phone I coded a stock trading platform to make me $250,000 a day, I simply told Claude to make me $250,000 a day make no mistakes and this is how I made $250,000 even while sleeping" type posts.

That's the actual mechanism (the bite by whoever responds), any shuffling of the 3-card monte (AI doing "things") is irrelevant

@previous (E)
It is a good scam though because if anybody who falls for this and then tries explaining wtf they just did to anybody else is going to find it embarrassing when they realize it makes no sense what they were doing in the first place.

"Uh, so basically I paid this guy to explain to me how I could build a second brain interface using Obsidian and Grok. He said I could basically take all of my information and copy and paste it into this thing that makes a bunch of dots that are ideas and connects it all together and then the LLM tells me what cryptocurrencies to buy because of my bookmarks, and I paid him to tell me how to use the prompts for this, and now I don’t have any money so help me."
