Apparently some high school students were mad because they didn’t have enough teachers and then this happened.

Somehow I don’t think it’s really about the teachers, but what do you all think?

Apparently the right in the US is trying to make this about migrants somehow, which is a bit awkward since all the people doing this are obviously white.

Not saying I know what it’s about, just saying it’s interesting.

Why don't we have protests in America right now? It's just Europe and India.

I am curious though, there seems to be a trend of the rich getting richer while things get more unaffordable for ordinary people, and with the threat of automating everybody’s jobs away, and declining birth rates, I do wonder if the probability of social unrest will increase. Not sure as to the causes of the social unrest in France specifically, but for a while I’ve felt like various things seem to be lining up in the wrong way yet nothing was really happening as a result… it will be interesting to see if this dies down or spreads.

Ngl, there were some protests this past summer, I saw them but personally I’m afraid of facial recognition so I’ve been trying to stay away from protests. I’d imagine I’m not the only one thinking that.

I really can’t believe it’s school conditions though, I’m not claiming I know what the reason is, but I can’t imagine somebody would burn down a building because there are too many students in their classroom. It has to be economic or oil prices or housing or something.
