As someone who's been around the block in dprk, there's nothing outside Pyongyang. It's farms, industry, and empty wilderness.

You will hear about Hwasong district, it's ok but not worth it because there's better. Munsu-dong, this is pricey and I wasn't there long.

now you know where NOT to go. Here's where I recommend:
Tungme-dong or Songyo districts are FUN. Always a party and the people are great. Don't skip them. Wish I could go back more.

Wolhyang-dong, Moranbong District if you have the time you won't regret.
