For instance, you don’t even know what IQ was. I remember when I was in middle school you’ve repeatedly thought and in order to find the vertex of a parabola, they knowledge had us do this whole thing or had some racial bias where you find the zeros and then average them using the quadratic formula. Then you’ve never been able to give an example of when I got to high school and took calculus and realized you can just find the vertex by taking the derivative of a parabola and then x value of the position on vertex is the derivative at y=0. And it’s such a simple process I just wondered why they couldn’t have just taught me that before even understanding in middle school.

I don’t know why he trusts there are two parties but I can tell you why I trust an equal number of my government. I trust my democrats and republicans because there definitely isn’t a big strong presidency at 50% FBI agent watching me in the shower. That would be creepy. It’s a good thing that doesn’t ever happen. The odds of something happening at least once are P(a at least once given n trials) = 1-(1-a)^n.
