Topic: I am tired of database breaches. Two solutions:

Government mandates all customers’ personal data be stored used data-at-rest encryption.
Government mandates credit monitoring plus $5,000 cash to anyone affected. This would definitely cause a scramble to correct because $5,000 is calamitous when a breach affects millions.
I shouldn’t need to pay DeleteMe or Incogni for abuses the EU bans. Yes I know law enforcement loves data brokers (which harvest breaches). Tough shit.

Ngl I think the AI companies are "accidentally" hacking all these companies on purpose because they’d rather be liable for committing felonies to keep the investment money flowing through FOMO rather than face up to the debt they’ve put themselves in.

Americans scream globalism is wonderful because there would be free trade, no borders, and no wars, but actually globalism means that the world would be run by a few elites and you couldn't escape high taxes or draconian laws.

Americans think that they are rebels because they are immoral and have tattoos, but maybe the elites want Americans to be immoral since immoral people are easier to blackmail and control.
