Topic: Increase performance on GTA IV

Now I have the game installed on my brother's computer that usually runs high graphical games such as GTA IV, but for some reason the game still lags even on the lowest settings. Is there a way to increase FPS and perhaps make the game run at medium graphic settings without having to run out and buy a new computer?

On this computer (the one that doesn't have the game installed) has a Nvidia GeForce 9200.
I think my bro's is either Nvidia or ATI. I'll have to double check with you on that.

@246,668 (D)When I goto into the graphics menu in-game, the bottom always says 2XX / 1008.
And the computer that has the game installed has a Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT graphics card.
And Can You RUN It says it passes the minimal requirements.
