Never. It's the logical end state of every parasocial relationship that preceded it. Before streaming it was youtubers and before youtubers it was movie stars and on and on. The only way streaming will die down in popularity is if we get something more personal like maybe AI holograms of your favorite people or some shit that you can hang out with in your room.
