It is a little bit funny when you think about it, people are worried about the world ending resulting in everybody dying, but everybody alive today is going to be dead 150 years from now. So everyone is going to die either way. It’s just a question of whether more babies will be born.

And if you think about it, before the Industrial Revolution, a significant portion of humans who ever lived, about half, never made it past childhood. So if you’re an adult you’re probably already older than most people ever lived to be. So it’s like, even if we all went extinct today, you still had it better than most, so how can you complain really? This is an absurd argument I’m making.
