I was feeling particularly bitter about some very bad news that I recently received and went apeshit at the wall because I had to punch something. Now it's trashed and I still don't feel any better.

Hit the bed... I used to hit stuffs (not very often). One day I was particularly upset and I hit a giant oak cabinet full of canned goods, the cabinet won and I have a steel plate and four screws in my hand to show for it. I never hit any inanimate object again lol. If you absolutely have to hit something, hit your bed.

This must be some heterosexual, masculine behaviour because I can honestly say that I've never went around beating on walls and furniture just because I'm angry.

I suggest hitting the hay too, take a few drowsy pills and / or a bottle of vodka to help you sleep better.
