If you have a fee to cover a living wage then I’m already paying that. 10% covers this Euro-style arrangement. You also remove tax from the total and drinks. Just $1 per drink rather than tipping on inflated alcohol costs and taxes that have nothing to do with meal or service.

I used to tip a lot like to the point where waiters would come up to me to thank me personally. Things have gotten more expensive though and I've also just realized it's a waste of money because you're helping perpetuate a system in which people don't get paid fairly. So I don't really tip much anymore but I know it's all around a controversial subject and some people get mad so really I've just stopped going to places and engaging with services that expect tips. Like I haven't been to a sit down restaurant in quite some time. Cooking at home is more rewarding anyway
