Some give you safety shoes and tell you to manually remove pallets, others don't give you shoes but forbid you from manually removing pallets. Some give overtime but then remove one of your regular shifts, while others say if you don't do overtime you're a gone.
But every single time the design is horrendous. Once saw the biggest ceiling height in a warehouse, but literally nothing was stored above floor level. Everyone always thinks their place is normal.

They all the way don't care, the building will be demolished or sold in 10 years anyway. Same with strip malls, my town is littered with them because they just build a new one every 7 years or so and let the old one fall into disrepair.
Last place had mini forklifts that could lift pallets just enough to drive with, and since we only had one real forklift that was busy refilling and receiving wares, so you removed them from the shelves by dragging them to them away and lifting onto the pallet stack
