I honestly feel bad for Elon. It almost seems like he wants to be a good guy deep down but his insecurities are just too powerful so he gives in and tries to outdo other people to prove he's worthy. A broken man if I've ever seen one

Tbh, this is crazy, but if you go back to previous generations in the Musk family tree, each successive generation back you go, his male ancestors get progressively more racist, so this is actually an improvement. His father is one thing, don’t look into his grandfather lol

I’m just saying, my grandfather served for America in World War Two, Elon’s grandfather left America because it just wasn’t racist enough.

That said, technocracy is interesting if you subtract the eugenics part of it. Have engineers run the government, it’s a thing that’s ponderable.

He’s not a good guy. He’s the annoying guy who never realized why he was toxic and annoying, why people didn’t like him, why people bullied him, and he bought Twitter for his fanboys to like him.

He’s definitely good at hiring the right people and getting government money to offset his risk. But his inane pronouncements are pure “a CEO said.”

The thing about Elon Musk, is I can understand why he is the way that he is. If you look into his childhood, despite whatever he says about it, he grew up wealthy, his father was rich. But he grew up in apartheid South Africa. Even though his father was rich, his father was abusive, Elon Musk has called his father a criminal, evil, a psychopath, etc. and he’s probably right. And his family history, his grandfather was an extreme racist who moved to South Africa from the United States because he liked South Africa’s racial policies.

That’s all true on the one hand, on the other hand, Elon Musk is a man who grew up in Africa, got extremely sick with malaria in Africa, and then left Africa, came to the United States, and cut foreign aid to African countries, including disease prevention, because of his racism. Even thought, that’s something he probably would have benefited from himself. Which is just messed up, and all the childhood stuff doesn’t really justify or excuse that.

If Elon Musk would give me 1 percent of his worth, I'd tongue his shitty fartbox each day for 5 years.
