That's not accurate. The Cornish and Welsh have some genetic continuity with the pre-Roman population, before the Germanic people came.

Unsurprising, really, as this is reflected linguistically by the survival of the Cornish and Welsh languages.
Also, the native Britons are usually called Celts.
