You have to understand how much this case matters. For a very long time now white women have been at the top of the social hierarchy in America. Their lives are seen as more valuable than anyone else's in this country so naturally they basically get to do whatever the fuck they want with little to no consequences. This case is about white women pushing that sentiment as far as they can and seeing what they can get away with. If they end up being able to get away with straight up murder, they'll consolidate power and nobody will be able to stop them.

Well I don’t know if I’d consider them to be at the very top because there was some oppression against them in the past like when women didn’t have the right to vote. Although that was a long time ago. I do think we should advocate for women in general, but at the same time if you look into the history of civil rights in America, white women did do some pretty bad stuff. Like accusing black men… sometimes black teenagers of rape encouraging a mob of white people to brutally kill them and mutilate their bodies in a really sadistic way, and then later half the time they’d actually straight up admit that they made it up and the black guy didn’t actually do anything wrong. Which is super messed up.

I’d guess the way I’d say it is that women have privilege in the legal system because they’re seen as innocent, but that also has the downside of people see them that way because people see women as lacking agency as being full independent adults, which explains certain things we see in the world, for example, most billionaires and politicians are men.

So I think I’d say with men, the way we’re socialized, we have the highest highs but also the lowest lows. Most of the shitty jobs nobody wants to work that are dirty or dangerous are done by men, but also the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world are mostly men. Most of the people on death row are men, most of the people in prison are men, most of the people who die in wars are men. But that continues to perpetuate itself whether you want to blame nature and biology or socialization or maybe a mix of both to varying degrees, higher risk often is paired with higher reward. So it’s not inherently clear which strategy is "better" because they both work, which is probably why humanity does both at the same time in equal proportion. Although that doesn’t mean it’s the most ideal way society could be structured.

Although, even if women tend to be a way and men tend to be a way, it doesn’t apply to everyone because we’re all different. Some women I know are incredibly ambitious, driven, assertive, I know women who are less risk averse than I am, so it’s not like just because most people are a way that means if somebody isn’t they’re doing something wrong either. We shouldn’t put people in boxes. Everybody is how they are for a reason and if they’re not causing harm to people around them I wouldn’t judge that.

I guess you can’t completely blame one gender. Women are half the population, if there’s a patriarchy it can only exist because some women support it. And if women have some advantage over men in the legal system, but men have more political power than women, it’s partially the fault of men. So anything one gender does wrong is really a failure of both.
