Honestly the Latgalians are closer to a sort of hunter gatherer culture today than the Amish. They were forced by the colonial powers to modernize but they have kept much of the old ways of life.

I agree with that, which is sorta the point I’m getting at. People who think they’re smarter than people from cultures they perceive as "less advanced" are idiots because you and I only survive because we live in large societies to the point where we don’t really depend on ourselves to survive and don’t know how to survive on our own.

I’ve noticed white supremacists on the internet, they try to be sneaky so they’ll say stuff like, "we need to protect white heritage." But they don’t mean Europe. That’s the thing. I remember I saw one comment somebody wrote along the lines of, "We need to protect white heritage everywhere, in Europe, in America, in South Africa." So basically, if anywhere isn’t white, that’s a threat to white people somehow according to them. They’ll use the separatist nonsense to try and make it seem like they just want their own communities but really they don’t like that other races exist in the first place.

Because if you think about it, they’ll say all this nonsense about genocide against white South Africans, but they don’t want Africans in Europe. So Europe should be white and Africa should be white. So where do the black people go? You have to think about it.

Or take Japan for instance, I’ve seen white supremacists compare blacks to the Japanese to try and say Japanese culture is better somehow or Japanese people are more civilized or they have higher IQs or whatever. But they always universally think it’s awesome that Japan got nuked. So it’s like, they think the Japanese are better than black people, but they think the Japanese deserved to get nuked. So it’s like… you know.

That’s the one thing about freedom of speech that’s weird though. Free speech absolutists will say that hate speech should be protected because "how can anybody know it’s wrong" but if you try and push a narrative where it makes it so that there’s only one logical reaction, does that even make sense?
