There is no official or publicly verified WhatsApp group for "Minichan" or "Tinychan."Because WhatsApp groups require an invite link or a phone number to join, you should be extremely cautious. "Chan" style imageboards or forums are typically anonymous, and sharing your phone number on a public platform to join a WhatsApp group carries significant security and privacy risks.

I don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m talking out my butt right now. But when I looked into it, I think the Japanese guy working for the central bank of Brazil was in on it.

It’s like, people will be mad about this kind of stuff or stereotype Nigerians for it or be racist or whatever, but you do have to admit, it is kind of impressive some guy could come out of Nigeria and make $242 million in one day. You can’t make $242 million in one day. You have no idea how tf to do that.

Scams make up a significant percentage of Nigerian GDP.

I want to say that it’s bad, but given history and given the current state of Nigeria’s economy, I can’t say that I don’t understand why somebody could do that and then not feel bad about it.

Also, Sakawa is kind of interesting. In Ghana, idk how much of it is still going on, but there was this whole movement of young men who would scam westerners on the internet and they had religious rituals behind it. Because there are some religions where the spirit world is considered to be morally neutral, so if you make a sacrifice to a God, you can use it for good or bad purposes. It’s obviously not good, but I feel like that’s an interesting concept. I could imagine some fictional scenario where criminals are part of a cult doing religious rituals to have some sort of supernatural purpose could be rather entertaining.

Yoruba religion is also kind of interesting. Apparently Vodou in the Americas originated from Yoruba religion so some of the symbols, the Veves in Haitian Vodou actually come from Nsibidi which was a pre-colonial writing system in Nigeria where each world had its own character like Chinese. And it’s polytheistic so they have various Orishas that people will make offerings to for various things. They have one Ogun who’s supposed to be the Orisha of iron, war, and technology so they’ll sacrifice dogs or snakes. It’s actually kind of interesting.

I like everything he's saying. He is like a garden hose that's been left on and is just flailing around, spraying everywhere. But a guy. He must be brought in.

It’s also interesting, since Catholics venerate saints, and Yoruba religion is polytheistic, there are some instances where some people merged Catholicism with Yoruba religion which is heretical from the view of the church as an organization, but it’s still interesting how some people managed to combine two things that seem like they should be fundamentally incompatible.
