Something I was thinking about recently is how I’ve never killed anyone. I wonder how I would react if I did kill someone. Would I be one of those people who just doesn’t feel bad about it and moves on or would I kill myself? I don’t know.

I’ve heard one of the explanations for holy wars in the past was if your religion says killing is wrong but you’re a warlord and you do a lot of killing you might feel bad about it, so the idea that you can die as a martyr of the faith and be cast off to heaven is appealing because it’s an easy way out. I don’t know if I agree with that theory.

Although, to be frank, if there is a hell… don’t you think most of us probably deserve it? Do you really deserve to go to heaven after that thing you did?
