Just imagine walking into a supermarket. AI robot guard tells you to assume the position so you drop your pants and bend down. He shoves his robo dick in your ass to verify your identity. You're lucky enough to be allowed on the list to buy food so you head to the milk aisle and spend $60 on a gallon of milk (it's on sale by the way). As you head to your car, you're jumped and raped by one of the local roaming gangs but thankfully they didn't take the milk.

This is the future you chose

Nah, I chose something else. The gas station by my work installed the dystopian marketing voice to sing its tag lines and corporate overlord praises on loop at all of the gas pumps. I don't go there anymore.

You just described Matt’s utopia. He asked if the robot can call him Will Robinson during the proceedings.

I wonder if we will see some rise in homesteading or communities with massive gardens who unplug quite often. Of all the dystopias Wall-E is probably the most realistic where humanity is reduced to screen addicted wide bodies with skinny limbs.
