This tracks. As a onetime denizen of a white trash town and metal head I’d see these guys all the time. Jacked skinheads are rarities. The militia and stars and bars types are fat. The skinheads are the worst because they deliberately target fucked up kids with the worst lives imaginable and promise them “family.” The stats and bars guys are mostly poseurs who take gun-truck-flag-sunglasses selfies.

I don’t really have a problem with it if somebody owns a gun, but people who try to act like having a gun makes them tough or something, it’s like, everybody knows you’re not going to do anything with it.

Especially when libertarian types start yapping about the second amendment as protection against tyranny, we all know the US military has nuclear weapons, tanks, and drones. They can blow your house up with a flying robot, they don’t care about your guns. It’s a stupid fantasy.

It’s also ironic it’s always people from the south that have this type of fantasy of fighting the oppressive government with their freedom guns when those are the states where if you kill a cop, you get put on death row and that’s the end of that.

Although if a cop kills you, they do get fired sometimes on occasion so not everything is working against you.
