Someone would tell him something and, suddenly, he would repeat it endlessly having obtained expertise on an issue.
He acted like a hard-charging decision maker. Then he’d dither on decisions big and small and work would add up. Suddenly he’d spring forth and question everything then make bad decisions. “Why are we being billed for this? Are you sure I approved this? Fuck them! It can go to collections.”
The only way through was to do things and convince him it was his idea and that he signed off on it.
