Someone would tell him something and, suddenly, he would repeat it endlessly having obtained expertise on an issue.
He acted like a hard-charging decision maker. Then he’d dither on decisions big and small and work would add up. Suddenly he’d spring forth and question everything then make bad decisions. “Why are we being billed for this? Are you sure I approved this? Fuck them! It can go to collections.”
The only way through was to do things and convince him it was his idea and that he signed off on it.

Hardly. This guy was a legacy Ivy League type and golf bro. He kissed up and bullied down. I was running operations and logistics. Not breaking down boxes in a warehouse.

The fact that Pete Hegseth went to Princeton, Trump went to UPenn, and RFK Jr. went to Harvard has very much undermined my opinion of the prestige of the ivy league.

When I was applying to college originally I had this confusion as to how it was possible so many people in congress all went to Harvard when Harvard has a low acceptance rate (that was higher in the past) but still it just seems highly statistically improbable that many of them would be Harvard graduates. Then I realized, it’s because wealthy students are much more likely to be accepted and are vastly overrepresented in the student body, and virtually all politicians are at least millionaires. Because even though we have free speech, your speech goes a lot further if you have money.

Also the Supreme Court ruled that money is a form of speech so it would be against the first amendment to not let rich people give money to politicians. Because you know, democracy.

The Supreme Court has to be one of the dumbest things the founding fathers did. Unelected people get to decide how the law is interpreted, serve for life, and have zero accountability or checks on power. Absolutely idiotic.
