They're the refuse from the real world. Anyone that can't make it out there gets dumped in here. It's fucked up when you think about it because all these fuck ups get access to instant communication to coordinate how to fuck up on an even bigger scale. One of the flaws with democracy: everyone isn’t equal in intelligence or morality. Don’t turn this into a eugenics thing, I’m not talking about race, just individuals, and if your mind jumped straight to race I’m talking about you specifically.

I’m starting to think intelligence is a personality trait. Because somebody can have a learning disability, but that doesn’t make them stupid, you know what I mean. It’s not just an IQ thing, it’s something else. It’s hard to define intelligence or measure it objectively and you can be intelligent in different ways. That’s part of why I think trying to reduce it down to one number like what IQ attempts to accomplish is silly at face value. And I think everybody knows this, some people are good at math, but suck at foreign languages. Some people are good at learning languages but suck at math. Some people are good at both. But that said, some people just have stupid personalities, they don’t understand anything from someone else’s perspective or can’t comprehend the idea that someone else might not be impressed with them, it goes hand in hand with narcissism.

I think part of the issue with the internet is it lets people come out of their shells, it’s the anonymity of it. But society is better off when certain lower traits of humanity are suppressed. And that has negative consequences for democracy in general. You can’t let the stupid people lead the world and expect positive outcomes, because they’ll be bragging about how well they’re doing while they burn their own country to the ground. Especially when you combine that mentality with racist ideology, it’s like a self lobotomy. If you think you’re better for being born, you tend to ignore it when someone else catches up to or even surpasses you, but it’s very dangerous to provoke someone more powerful than you are. If people stop seeing reality, it will lead to a very bad outcome.

I think fundamentally the worst fallacy these people make is they glorify power because they don’t have much power in their lives as individuals. So naturally they have a fantasy of invincibility. Except, nothing is invincible. They have this idea that they don’t even need to be smart because they’re so powerful that they can’t lose. In the entire history of the world, there has always been a constant that all empires eventually collapse. It doesn’t matter how rich or how many weapons or what race or what religion or whatever.

And really, if anyone has any questions about the validity of what I’m saying, just look at what happened in World War Two. Three countries became convinced of their own racial superiority, they thought they could win because they were born better, and that really didn’t turn out well for them. In fact, if you look at the course of history in general, countries that have racist ideologies tend to lose existential wars. It has happened more than once, it’s not a coincidence, it’s a pattern.

I think part of it is in a healthy imperial system, (what a concept), the best and brightest from all around the world go to universities in your country, universities do research, that research leads to developments in technology that wouldn’t have had a clear path to profitability, but later become adopted by private industry. Some of these innovations have military applications. What happens in a racist country is you discourage immigration, you start punishing universities for ideological reasons, leading to scientists leaving your country for countries where they feel they’re safer and their funding is more reliable, you brag about having the most advanced technology because of your racial ideology that it comes from genetics, technological innovations grind to a halt, and eventually you fall behind technologically and another power crushes you in battle.

I never use this website from a laptop. I guess I’m just used to typing a lot so I don’t really think about it. I try to avoid using the same IP address.

The other thing about mobile ipv4 addresses is there are a limited number of them, so your phone doesn’t create a new ipv4 address every time you connect to a cell tower, instead they have a pool of ip addresses and you randomly get assigned one of them each time, but they’re reused so they’re not unique to any one individual.

For ipv6, there are enough for each address to be unique, but you still don’t get assigned the same one twice if you connect and reconnect because there are so many of them there’s no reason to waste resources on making sure you get the same ipv6 twice.

Lots of people post on the Internet. The most active posters on Reddit, Quora, wherever don’t have real lives and need to post online for validation and for connection. People with real jobs and lives have other shit to do.

I hate Reddit so much. I swear, it comes up way too often in the google search results, but people on Reddit just go on vibes. It’s so annoying whenever I’m actually trying to find out information about something and a bunch of Reddit threads come up where people are saying stupid and factually wrong things with confidence. People just say stuff on Reddit. One time on Reddit, I saw somebody complaining that it was unreasonable somebody asked them what document.createElement does in a web development job interview.

Quora responses can be a little bit more well thought out sometimes, but the only problem is whoever designed Quora had this really weird idea in their head that when somebody searches for something, you should show them the most irrelevant thing first, and the most irrelevant thing is an AI response followed by human responses to questions you didn’t ask. Then the actual answers are at the bottom.

Stack overflow is great as long as you never listen to anything they say about security or encryption because they have no idea what they’re talking about. Anything from stack overflow won’t be efficient, it won’t be pretty, but it’s gonna work.
