These days there’s no excuse to be unemployed. I always tell kids, I have a criminal record. By law people like me aren’t supposed to be teachers at elementary schools. But if you really want a job, showing up is half the part. So just show up and start doing the job. It’s better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. I would much rather risk being rejected than never get the job at Al. I jacked a car and was criminally convicted for it, it was grand theft. But now it’s time to show you the way.
