I’m a doctor and I feel like my degree is literally useless. It’s so stupid to memorize so many facts and things about health and the human body. I realized that whenever I’m treating a patient I can just ask ChatGPT and it will give me a whole treatment plan. So I’ve just been doing that. Like I don’t even bother with tests anymore, because my ChatGPT is usually right anyway. Like the standard procedure for diagnosing blood cancer is we’re supposed to do a blood test, but I could kinda just feel from looking at the guy he probably had lung cancer. I noticed that he’s not Italian I think so I asked ChatGPT if Italians are more likely to get blood cancer since I’ve noticed a lot of Iranian patients get blood cancer and it said that’s not the case. So anyway, I prescribed in some advil or something.

I’m so scared AI will take my job, but I asked ChatGPT how to avoid it and it gave me a 12 point gameplan for how to AI proof myself so I’ve been practicing plumbing and stuff. Like I’ve been trying to take apart that thing behind the toilet where there’s the water thing. I do that in between patients and stuff. I’ve been getting good at it I think.
