It’s a cycle where we kill everybody different from us because we don’t want to take responsibility for our own problems, then we forget we did that and do it again.
For example, humans are called Homo sapiens because we belong to the genus Homo, but sapiens is a sub species. There used to be other subspecies, but now there’s only one left. Of course, now that there is only one lineage of humanity left, we have to divide ourselves further into races and imagine that the differences between us are vast even though they’re much smaller than practically any other animal you can think of, including chimpanzees. Chimpanzees have a tiny population, but they actually have more genetic diversity than all humans from all races. But they all look the same to us. It’s absurd.

Well in the past racists used to have the idea that people with smaller skulls had smaller brains and were therefore less intelligent and should be exterminated. Neanderthals had larger brains, the only problem is they’re all dead, so idk.

Neanderthals lived in Europe but their ancestry was also from Africa. Pan and Homo split off 7 million years ago in Africa. Every subspecies of human would have had African lineage. Homo sapiens are just unique in that we were the last sub species to come out of Africa 300,000 years ago, and we wiped everybody else out one way or another and then developed civilizations 6,000 years ago.

Apparently there’s some explanation that humans haven’t really evolved much at all since civilization began and actually what happened is the climate stabilized which allowed for farming to develop in more than one location around the world and that led to the exponential progression of society and technology and eventually the Industrial Revolution which led to an exponential increase in population.

Tangent: but a consequence of this is that when the pyramids were being built in Egypt, wooly mammoths had not gone extinct yet, there was still a population of them on Wrangel Island in Russia.

I find it interesting when racists say Africans didn’t have the wheel and didn’t have civilizations. Like the Romans, that was 2,000 years ago. This was 2,000 years before the Romans. And most of the pyramids in Africa aren’t even in Egypt. It’s like… maybe they’re just lying to themselves about something.
